Susan Kahn, was born in New York and attended Parsons School of Design Study alongside Moses Soyer

Kahn has exhibited her works at Audubon Artists, N.Y.C. Springfield Museum, Massachusetts National Arts Club Butler Institute, Youngstown, Ohio Purdue University, Indiana Islip Art Museum, N.Y. Fine Arts Museum of the South, Mobile, Alabama Chattanooga Regional History Museum, Chattanooga, Tennessee Longview Museum of Art, Texas Kirkpatrick Art Center Oklahoma City, Oklahoma ACA Galleries; Albrecht Art Museum; New York Cultural Center; National Academy of Design; St. Peter’s College.

Kahn has received many award during her career. Among them include the National Arts Club Award; the Anne Barnett Memorial Prize; the Solveig S. Palmer Award. the Edith Lehman Award, the National Association of Women Artists Simons Award – National Association of Women Artists Knickerbocker Medal of Honor, 1964 National Association of Women Artists Award 1981 and 1987 Schweitzer Award, 1990.
